Automation Saves Companies On Average 76% Per Expenses Report

For organizations with a travelling workforce, processing expenses reports will be routine work. 

But without an effective, automated expense management solution in place expenditure policies can be difficult to enforce. Studies have shown that manual expense submission and processing can cost an average of £21 per report. 

The average for a semi-automated solution is £13 per report, and a fully automated report £5, according to Chrome River.

Based on an average saving of £16 per expense claim, a mid-size organization with 1,000 monthly travellers can expect hard-cost savings of close to £200,000 a year, or 76% per report.
