On Friday, SAP announced free access to their SAP Cloud Platform for their partners. This open platform as a service will offer testing and demonstrations as well as development licensing services and will build on existing SAP solutions. In addition, SAP partners will be able to renew their subscription to the core SAP Cloud Platform for free for the next 12 months.
SAP CTO Björn Goerke says, “SAP is committed to bringing its partners to the cloud and, as a result, making it easier for customers to bring their business to the cloud as well. Now that over 3,700 SAP partners have joined our cloud strategy, the free resources will help them accelerate application development in a way that best fits their customer base.”
