Continuous Improvement: Measuring & Improving Performance on a Global Scale


The Mexican shared service center for LEGO is responsible for the finance operation in North America and Mexico. They face challenges in standardizing processes globally when performance in each region has been so varied. Therefore, as part of their continuous improvement drive they have implemented a system to measure daily KPIs that are shared with the SSC and globally – helping to create a bit of healthy regionally competition! Camilo De la Vega, the Senior Finance Manager at LEGO, shares the build up to this successful visibility project, the metrics they measure and brief look forward into what’s next in store.
