Sovos has launched a global strategic partnership with Intuit that will deliver its e-invoicing technology to Intuit customers, beginning with QuickBooks. The rollout, which began in mid-2025, will expand across dozens of major global markets over the next year.

The partnership is designed to help small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) and accountants comply with rapidly changing e-invoicing mandates around the world. As governments increasingly adopt e-invoicing to automate reporting and ensure accuracy of transactional data, businesses face mounting pressure to digitize compliance processes.

“We recognize the need for financial and accounting teams in small and medium sized businesses, who rely on Intuit for their tax-related and compliance needs to have access to the best technology and solutions available,” said Julien Decot of Intuit. “This partnership with Sovos, the global market leader for compliance and regulatory solutions, provides e-Invoicing capabilities which integrate seamlessly with QuickBooks, ensuring compliance.”

Sovos brings extensive expertise to the collaboration. The company monitors more than 19,000 tax jurisdictions worldwide and automatically updates its solutions to reflect regulatory changes. This ensures that every invoice processed through the system complies with local tax authority requirements.

For Intuit customers, the integration promises:

  • Enhanced cash flows, penalty avoidance and early payment discounts
  • Simplified processes and greater efficiency for finance teams
  • Direct connections to government agencies
  • Transparency throughout the e-invoicing process
  • Reduced risks to business continuity, supply chains and revenues caused by non-compliance

“The world of global e-invoicing is constantly changing and evolving as governments work feverishly to close existing tax gaps and collect revenues that are legally owed to them,” said Kevin Akeroyd, CEO of Sovos. “We see our partnership with Intuit as helping small and medium sized businesses and their financial teams to operate with the full confidence that they are compliant across all of their transactions.”
