Last week, Blue Prism announced it had formed a strategic partnership with Ernst & Young to offer Blue Prism’s RPA software as part of EY’s managed services which are run on Microsoft Azure.

The two companies had a good relationship already, with EY being the first (and only) organization to receive Blue Prism’s Platinum certification for delivery, in 2018.

Alastair Bathgate, CEO and Co-Founder of Blue Prism, said, “EY was one of the first organizations we worked with that shared and understood our vision for what a digital workforce can deliver. They’ve built a well-deserved reputation as a market leader in helping customers adopt and drive value from our technology on a global basis.”

Simon Constance, Leader, Blue Prism Alliance, Ernst & Young LLP (EY UK) added, “Automation is a key enabler across organizations, including EY, which has deployed hundreds of software bots across its member firms, in digital audit and digital tax to transform internal services. We look forward to the collaboration with Blue Prism, which is designed to better support organizations worldwide through their automation and digital transformation journeys.”

The announcement was made at last week’s Blue Prism World Event, where Blue Prism also unveiled new capabilities such as beta intelligent document processing and enhanced open-source features. The new enhancements to the platform will also provide support for Google analytics on their Digital Exchange (DX), an intelligent automation marketplace. The DX launched less than five months ago and already has more than 3,000 registered users.
