DHL has rolled out Comarch’s e-invoicing platform in Jordan to comply with the country’s national electronic invoicing system, JoFotara, which became mandatory for all taxpayers in April 2025.
The move aligns with Jordan’s wider digital transformation agenda, which began in 2019 and reached a key stage with the launch of JoFotara in 2023. The platform requires companies to issue structured electronic invoices in the UBL 2.1 format and submit them via API for pre-clearance by the tax authorities.
Under the new arrangement, DHL’s invoices are processed through Comarch’s system before being validated by JoFotara. Only approved documents are distributed or archived, helping ensure compliance with local legal and administrative standards.
Khaled Saleem, Country Manager at DHL Express Jordan, said the implementation has been smooth and aligned with the country’s new invoicing framework. “Comarch’s solution helped us to seamlessly integrate the new e-invoice system in accordance with the digital invoicing transformation in Jordan,” he said.
For Comarch, the DHL project forms part of its wider effort to support global companies operating under different national compliance regimes. “This project is a strong example of how our scalable solutions and strategic partnerships can quickly adapt to evolving legal landscapes,” said Adam Beldzik, E-Invoicing Subsector Director at Comarch.
The collaboration adds Jordan to a growing list of markets where Comarch’s e-invoicing technology is used to meet local reporting mandates. The company has previously worked with global brands such as Allianz, Carrefour, Vodafone, and Heineken on similar projects.
