France Rejects Delay to September 2026 Rollout for B2B E-Invoicing and B2C E-Reporting

The French National Assembly has rejected a proposed amendment that would have delayed the country’s mandatory B2B e-invoicing and B2C e-reporting requirements by one year. The vote, held on April 11, 2025, was part of discussions on the draft law Simplification de la vie des entreprises.

To date, 87 PDPs (Plateformes de Dématérialisation Partenaires) have been registered. The next major milestone will be in October 2025, when these platforms begin interoperability testing—an essential step to ensure e-invoices can be exchanged seamlessly between systems.
