Peppol Network Passes 8 Million Participants

The Peppol network had 8,006,660 participants as of 28 September 2026, taking it beyond the 8 million threshold.

The total increased by 1,120,538 over the preceding 30 days, from 6,886,122. That represents growth of 16.3% during the period.

Most of the increase came from a single country. France added 1,074,563 participants and accounted for 96% of the network's 30-day growth. The latest expansion was therefore heavily concentrated in France rather than spread broadly across the network.

France's contribution places the milestone in context: while the overall participant count moved above the threshold at a global level, the growth recorded during the period was overwhelmingly associated with additions in the French market.

Participants are distinct Peppol participant identifiers, not companies. A company may be represented by more than one identifier, so the participant total should not be read as a count of individual businesses.

The milestone followed the substantial 30-day increase, with France providing nearly all of the additions captured in that period.
