On Sunday the 1st February, the Polish Ministry of Finance went live with the first wave of its KSeF B2B e-invoicing mandate.

Looking at very early activity, we can see that the KSeF system logged more than 50,000 invoices on Day One, and more than 320 users logged into the system.*

“The first data show that the use of KSeF is proceeding smoothly and that the system is operating in a stable manner and in line with the adopted assumptions,” Marcin Łoboda, Poland’s deputy finance minister and head of the National Revenue Administration, said.

The first wave affects large taxpayers with a turnover of PLN 200m (approx. €47.4 million) or more. According to the finance ministry, this equals around 4,200 firms.

Its second wave will apply 1st April 2026. A third and final wave will follow in January 2027, when small/micro businesses are scheduled to join.

The KSeF system allows the sending, receiving and storing of electronic B2B invoices.
