Tungsten Automation has released Power PDF 2025.3 for Windows, the latest version of its enterprise PDF platform, adding browser-based editing, new Microsoft 365 collaboration tools, and full Windows-on-ARM compatibility. The update marks a major step in Tungsten’s shift toward cloud-connected and AI-assisted document workflows.

The release also debuts a more flexible SaaS licensing model and introduces Power PDF Business SaaS, a subscription edition designed for both enterprise and managed service provider markets.

This release represents a turning point for Power PDF,” said Tamas Hevizi, Chief Strategy Officer at Tungsten Automation. “By bringing editing and collaboration into the browser while maintaining enterprise-grade data control, we’re giving organizations the freedom to work anywhere – without sacrificing security or compliance.”

New Features in Power PDF 2025.3

  • Cloud Editor: Enables users to edit and annotate PDFs directly in the browser via a secure cloud interface.
  • Microsoft 365 Integration: Allows co-editing and sharing through Teams and SharePoint.
  • Native ARM CPU Support: Delivers full Windows-on-ARM compatibility, improving efficiency and battery life on modern devices.
  • AI Copilot (BYO License): Lets customers connect their own OpenAI or Microsoft Azure API keys for local, secure AI-assisted document tasks such as summarization, redaction, and explanation.
  • Enhanced Accessibility: Adds full PDF/UA and PDF/UA-2 compliance and improved tagging tools to help organizations meet standards such as the European Accessibility Act.
  • Unified 64-bit Architecture: Standardized across all editions to boost performance on large documents.

Flexible Licensing and SaaS Options

Starting with this version, Power PDF adopts a calendar-based versioning scheme, aligning with Tungsten’s quarterly release cycle (e.g., 2025.1, 2025.2, 2025.3). The company also confirmed that Power PDF Business SaaS will be available via Printix.net, offering a self-service model for managed service providers and SMB resellers with monthly billing.

Our expanded SaaS portfolio brings Power PDF to markets that were previously out of reach,” said Adam Field, Chief AI and Product Officer at Tungsten Automation. “By offering both enterprise-grade and self-service options, we’re enabling every type of customer and partner to benefit from our open, standards-based approach to document management.”

Availability

Power PDF 2025.3 for Windows is available globally beginning November 11, 2025. Customers who purchased a previous version within 30 days prior to launch qualify for a complimentary upgrade within 12 months.
