Zuora Inc., a provider of monetization solutions for contemporary businesses, announced the expansion of its partnership with Avalara Inc., a provider of cloud-based tax compliance automation for businesses of varying sizes. This enhanced collaboration introduces Zuora customers to advanced features of Avalara E-Invoicing and Live Reporting.

As countries worldwide increasingly implement e-invoicing mandates and digital reporting requirements, including live invoice data reporting and international sales and purchases e-reporting, the challenge of compliance grows, especially given the varying timelines and regulations across different countries. Zuora and Avalara's strengthened partnership aims to address these complexities by offering an integrated solution to help companies navigate these requirements efficiently.

Key Benefits of the Expanded Zuora-Avalara Partnership:

Global E-Invoicing Capabilities: Zuora customers can now easily configure Avalara E-Invoicing and Live Reporting based on their specific needs.

Access to E-Invoice Networks: Connection to both national and international e-invoice networks and government platforms is now simplified.

Regional E-Invoicing Compliance: The partnership supports different e-invoicing models by country or region, including features like digital signatures, QR codes, digital archiving, and tax authority clearance.

E-Invoice Monitoring: A single reporting console offers real-time visibility into the status of all e-invoices, including feedback or errors from tax authorities.

Archiving Setup: Ensures compliance with data localization, security, and retention policies through effective archiving of e-invoices.

Balaji Subramanian, Vice President of Global Partner Ecosystem at Zuora, comments, “Our partnership with Avalara equips modern businesses with essential technology for global growth, enabling our customers to efficiently meet diverse e-invoicing and live reporting requirements.”

Meg Higgins, SVP of Global Partners at Avalara, adds, “This announcement marks a significant step for Zuora customers, who can now leverage Avalara’s leading e-invoicing technology to meet evolving global requirements and overcome compliance challenges.”

Additionally, Zuora supports Peppol data export directly, facilitating e-invoice submissions to the Peppol network through Zuora workflows.

The integrated Avalara e-invoicing solution will become available through Zuora starting early 2024. Notably, Avalara is a certified and accredited Peppol service provider in Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and Japan.
