It wasn’t so long ago that robotics and robotic process automation (RPA) seemed like hype and a technology of the future. 
 
However RPA adoption in shared services is not the technology of the future, but the technology of today. We are moving past the stage of early adoption, and in shared services RPA can be considered mainstream.
