After a number of mergers and acquisitions Jumbo Supermarkets decided to centralise finance, IT and HR into a single shared services centre. Not all staff were moved to the new location, and rather than recruiting more staff, Jumbo Supermarkets wanted to automate key processes allowing them to operate efficiently without any additional FTE costs.
