Three Weeks Left to Appoint a UAE E-Invoicing Provider

UAE businesses subject to e-invoicing with revenues of AED 50 million or more have just over three weeks to appoint an Accredited Service Provider (ASP), ahead of the 30 October 2026 deadline.
The appointment deadline comes before mandatory implementation on 1 January 2027, leaving businesses around two months to complete the remaining preparations.
The Federal Tax Authority (FTA) urged businesses to avoid leaving preparations until the last minute at a Dubai meeting on 29 September attended by more than 700 participants, including service providers and businesses.
Choosing a provider is only the first step. Businesses must also contract and integrate with their provider, then complete the required procedures through the EmaraTax platform. The FTA warned that failure to meet implementation requirements may result in administrative penalties.
Businesses subject to the system with revenues below AED 50 million have until 31 March 2027 to appoint an ASP, ahead of mandatory implementation on 1 July 2027.
