November has been a busy month for UiPath so far. First they announced the launch of three Automation First Immersion Labs to show off their AI capabilities. Unveiled during UiPath’s Forward EMEA event in London earlier this month, the immersion labs will give customers and prospects a ‘hands-on programme’ to support their business process automation roadmaps.
Then came the news that they raised $40mil more than planned in their third round of financing bringing the total C Series funding to $265mil. The company’s valuation sits at $3bil and they were ranked the 26th fastest-growing company in North America on Deloitte’s 2018 Technology Fast 500 last week.
“Reflecting on where we were as a company a decade ago -- a team of ten based in Bucharest -- it’s incredible that we’re now headquartered in New York City, with 30 offices in 16 countries, employing more than 1,700 employees and acquiring on average six new customers per day,” said UiPath CEO and co-founder Daniel Dines.
Dines expects “2019 will not disappoint.”
